Bazar Manufacturing was founded in 1940 by Abraham Bazar. The firm remained in the family for three generations and Mr. Bazar's grandson, Steve Brown, remains with Argo as a consultant.

Leon Bram, owner of the Abramco-Komor Corporation of Johnston , had 50 years of experience in the jewelry industry before retiring this year.

United under the name Argo Products, the new firm serves independent wholesalers with American made, lead free costume jewelry for children and teens.
